Moving files to Commons
ändere@Holder, Leyo: Can the files in this category all be moved as free to Commons? CommonSupporter (Diskussion) 14:35, 17. Aug. 2016 (MESZ)
- No, please don't move them. --Holder (Diskussion) 14:54, 17. Aug. 2016 (MESZ)
- Why? If they are PD they can be moved? Are they not PD? Then the tags need updating. CommonSupporter (Diskussion) 15:11, 17. Aug. 2016 (MESZ)
- No, these are PD according to German, Swiss and Austrian law because they are official works. These aren't PD according to US law, so please don't move them. On Commons they probably would be deleted. The tag doesn't say that they are PD but PD-GermanGov. --Holder (Diskussion) 17:35, 17. Aug. 2016 (MESZ)
- The GermanGov did not create them. So, how can they be PD-GermanGov? CommonSupporter (Diskussion) 12:35, 18. Aug. 2016 (MESZ)

Suspiciuos files
ändereThese files have a PD tag, but are not PD in en.wikipedia.
- This is due to the difference in US copyright laws and German or Swiss laws respectively. --Holder (Diskussion) 17:37, 17. Aug. 2016 (MESZ)
- African Union and Commonwealth of Nations are neither German nor Swiss entities. So, why should the files be PD? CommonSupporter (Diskussion) 12:36, 18. Aug. 2016 (MESZ)
